Susie's Monograms and Gifts
Susie Harris
All Around Creator
I began my crafting journey shortly after my first child was born, but I have always loved all things monogrammed. My husband gave me my first embroidery machine, and I quickly began to live out the phrase “if it isn’t breathing, monogram it!” As my children grew, so did my desire to not only embroider their clothes, but make them. My sister taught me how to sew and my love for crafting took off. I became interested in vinyl monogramming, t-shirt designing, and creating all types of gifts. I named my business “Susie’s Monogramming and Gifts” because it captures everything I love to do without limiting what I can create. I enjoy making a variety of items and do my best to stay up-to-date with current trends and ideas. That’s what makes all of this so much fun for me!
Leslie Murphey Browning
Leslie Browning
Artist, Painter
I've been making art since my hand could hold a crayon. I created art across multiple mediums throughout my youth and young adulthood. Motherhood and ever-increasing work responsibilities pushed my art supplies further and further back on the literal and metaphorical shelves. After retiring from my career in 2017, I eventually picked them back up and began painting in acrylics and teaching myself watercolor. I began taking commissions since 2021 and broke into retail in 2024.

Oakmoor Designs
Kelli Blackman
Watercolor Artist
I began ‘dipping in’ to the art of watercolor painting as a form of self care to cope with my anxiety. I have always considered myself artistic, but I had never tried watercolor. My journey really began by watching others painting with the medium. I found it soothing just to watch. It didn't take long for me to start painting on my own. Having found something that I could get lost in was extremely healing. Fast forward to 2021, after struggles with infertility, I had my first miracle baby! Now finding time to sit down and create is the only challenge. In 2023, after having her second child, she decided to come back to painting. Finally learning photoshop in 2024 really opened up her business as she has learned how to create art prints and stationery to share with you today!

I've been making jewelry since the days of folded gum wrapper friendship bracelets, way back in the 70's. I've been working with beads on and off for the last 25 years or more. I started beadweaving with Czech and Japanese seed beads in 2020 and just fell in love with it! I credit some truly talented youtube beaders for my ongoing education, and hours and hours and hours of practicing the craft to get where I am now.

I've been creating art since I could hold a Crayon for over a half a century. With a degree in Toy Design, I spent years designing toys for companies that sold to big box stores and transitioned to being an art teacher to get the opportunity to share the joy of creating art with others. I began crocheting in 2016 making and donating Cancer hats to Happy Caps Atlanta. The fun of creating hats evolved into making baskets, sweaters, mittens, and blankets.

Wild Thing Floral Design
Rajan Atwal
Floral Arrangement Design
My brand is a nod to 2 things; my wild side and my love for wild flowers. From white water rafting in Guatemala, bungee jumping in Zimbabwe as well as various treks by foot (and elephant!) in Peru, Thailand and New Zealand. I could have easily called the brand Adrenaline-junky flowers but it didn’t quite have the same ring as Wild Thing! And when it comes to flowers themselves my favorites are the wild ones that just spring up all on their own, brightening the side of the road or bringing a bit of color to the otherwise dark forest floor.

THE STORY OF STITCHED

Clare Schueren: Owner & Creator
Sewing has been a multi-generational passion in our family. My Great-grandmother was incredible at all things with a needle and thread; the true heart of Stitch's story began there. Surrounded by her creations and handmade treasures, the love for sewing seeped into my soul. Over 20 years ago, a quilting class sparked a passionate fire within me. As years passed, balancing family, career, and side projects for friends became the norm, but the demand for handmade treasures grew. And now, amidst all this, Stitched was born. Each stitch tells a story, weaving together a tapestry of love, dedication, and creativity. Stitched is not just about fabric and thread; it's about preserving traditions, creating memories, and connecting generations through the art of sewing.
